HBC is normally pretty good about USB devices in my experience, only when you try to read apps off some USB sticks it freaks out.Īnyways, good luck to you, I hope you resolve your issue. It likes to power itself off and fail to boot every so often, and I've never had a problem with it. My external drive is a random 1TB Seagate drive with a broken SATA connector (the pins are still there, it's just that the plastic it mounts to is broken off) and a hard drive (dock?) that I got from an old external hard drive enclosure that has a chip on the SATA power connector. However I wanted to have the latest version v1. I'd plug it into a computer to see if it has trouble installing it, as if it's a rapid connect/disconnect issue, the PC should say something is wrong with the device. Having a Wii U with Aroma I love the convenience of channels and soon I created an injected version of the 'Newer Super Mario Bros' v1.2 which worked pretty well.

Once thats done, open the mii channel in the vWii and your vWii should now be homebrewed. It's possible whatever tomfoolery your external drive is doing is hurting it. To homebrew the vWii it goes through the mii channel- so we inject code into it, and once were done, come back here to deinject and fix the mii channel. I will try to be as succinct and thorough as I can, this should cover nearly all issues with all usb loader. This is also Wii-Centric, so if you have a vWii, or even a Wii Mini this guide may not help you fully. Is it just games on the drive for USB Loader GX? The Homebrew Channel has some difficulties with SOME USB devices, mostly flash drives, even on a real Wii. This guide is made to replace our 'List of Six' in the community for troubleshooting all loader issues for the three common loaders. Perhaps there is intermittent power causing the system to continually mount and unexpectedly unmount the volume, or something to that effect.
